You need a quality preschool that will help your child thrive, and in Everett, WA, it’s easy to find this education at Kid’s Country. Our pre-kindergarten curriculum helps each child grow through fun activities that allow children to learn at their own pace.

Quality Curriculum

At the Kid’s Country learning center, we’re very focused on making sure each child’s needs are met. We place children in the classrooms that will best facilitate their development, and we use the latest child development methods as well as our extensive experience to identify your child’s needs and fill them.

Our preschool curriculum is interactive and engaging and includes subjects such as reading, drawing, nature studies, dancing, and singing. By exercising their creative juices and exploring the world in pre-k, your child can grow to love reading, utilize their imagination, and explore how the world works.

Trained Teachers

Each of our teachers receives ongoing training so we can create the comforting, nurturing environment your child needs to have confidence and a positive self-image.

Our teacher education includes one-on-one training with managers as well as training concerning:

  • CPR
  • First aid
  • HIV

Each month, our teachers meet to learn more about a topic related to pre-k and childcare, and this training allows us to stay up to date with the latest in child development and education practices.

We look forward to teaching your child. Call us at 425-353-4488 to learn more.

Debi Gardner, the Director for the Everett, Washington center, began working with Kid's Country in April of 2002 as a Program Supervisor. Only three years later, in July 2005, she became a Director.

Her career in Early Childhood Education began way back in 1977. In 1988 she received her AA in ECE from NSCC. Debi makes her continuing education a priority through discussions with her peers, staff, children at the center, parents, and, of course, the occasional class.

In her free time Debi is a wife and mother to two very active teenage boys who serve as her greatest educational tool. With them, she's “been there, done that!” Debi takes great pride in the Everett center, staff, and the children who attend. She looks forward to hearing from you and sharing the wonderful opportunities that are waiting for your family at the Everett center.

Program Supervisor

Chelsea Bergstrom’s employment began when she was 16 as a teaching assistant at the Everett Kid’s Country. At age 18, she left to attend Nanny School and when completed moved to New York. She lived and worked with children in New York for 12 years. After having two boys of her own, she decided to move back to Everett to be close to family. She is excited to be back at Kid’s Country and looks forward to working with all children, parents, and center staff.
